In September 2012 she decided to open her own business, Green Gate Equine Services, which offers training, teaching and sales. One of Paetra's passions within the horse world is to work with young, abused or neglected horses. She enjoys working with them to gain their trust and then helping them find their niche in the world. In addition to training, Paetra enjoys teaching and sharing her knowledge of horses with her students of all levels and ages. Currently she has an imported Holsteiner mare, Plum Lucky, that she has done some jumpers with, then dabbled in the hunter ring with briefly, and is now working on retraining to for the dressage ring. Currently Lucky and Paetra are competing at 1st level, and beginning to train for 2nd level. Paetra also has a twelve year old Arabian that she rescued in 2013 named F.T. Winchester. Chester made his showing debut in the spring of 2014 in the jumper ring and now is in dressage training to see how far he can work his way up the levels. Also, Paetra has a small top-of-the-line Section A Welsh pony, named Scooter, who she uses to teach children's lessons on or leases out. Paetra relocated to southern New Jersey in July 2014 and is currently training in dressage with Carol Conner of Blue Moon Dressage in Bridgeton, New Jersey. She plans to attempt to achieve her USDF Bronze Medal scores this year with her long term goal being to achieve all her USDF Medals and Musical Freestyle Bars. She has chosen to not open a full facility of her own in NJ as she had running in PA and focus more on freelance teaching and training jobs that she picks and chooses to allow her schedule to stay flexible for her own showing goals. In addition to her equine endeavors, Paetra decided to go back to school to work on her undergraduate studies in October 2014. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University Online September 1st, 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and English and a Minor in Marketing. Paetra is on track to begin her Graduate Degree in Digital Marketing at Full Sail University at the end of November 2016. Paetra intends to put her Minor in Marketing to use within her equine business and has been designing and developing  websites for her Marketing clientele as well. She intends to follow her passion for writing on the side for the time being, writing novels and working on her blog pieces. Follow her equine blog here or her personal blog at Green Gate Publication.
